I am hosting a party at the end of the school year. I am having trouble coming up with a well mixed-playlist for the Dj to play, on top of requests. What are some songs that are a must for any party
(Ages ranging from 16-37)

Not A full list to last your party, but i'm sure you can come up with some songs 4 your Dj to play. If your Dj is talented enough, he/she could play his own music. Unless if its 1 of those Dj's that just play music and relax. I know you can get a few songs from now till Summertime. There are still more songs 2 come in the Music industries so dont worry about it now. I hope your party works out and I hope the songs are good :-)!

I'd copy down my entire playlist if I could, but that wouldn't work too well.
It's a good idea to throw a shuffle on the thing and just place some good rock/techno music.
Considering the ages, Nirvana would be a partial, so yeah. Nine Inch Nails is a good choice, albeit the fact that it's not as easily danceable. Play some things from around the1970's to the 1990's, because that is the majority of the group.
Fast music is good, and make sure that there is ton of variety.
Have fun at the party. I might DJ at a party soon, so yeah.

You should be discussing this subject with the DJ because they have a better idea about what is popular in your local area than anybody on the Internet.
