She's married, and her family will hunt her down if she leaves and files for divorce. Situation could get hectic for us if we want to be together, but we can't stand being away from one another. We are planning to get back together, but have to disappear for a while. Any suggestions on which path to follow would be appreciated.

Have you had intimate relations with this women or is it more of a long distance relationship? Anyways this sounds like trouble and if here parents are willing to hunt her down I'm sure they will come after you as well. Cut the rope before you get yourself in something that will ruin your life. Remember there are pletty of fish in the sea, so don't look back and get on with your life. By the way this advice comes from experience.

It's a shame how families get involved in something they're not really privy to! I think I would sit down with her and have a heart to heart so she is clear what she will be giving up by running away with you. Have you two been together for a long time? If not, what if it's just a lust thing? That won't last and after awhile she might become alienated from you because of what she has given up. Good luck to the both of you!
