Why do some women wear thongs while others prefer regular panties?

i hate thongs. I get the concept, but boy shorts do the same thing in terms of helping with panty lines. Why on earth would I want some thin piece of fabric or something going up my booty? It would drive me crazy all day long.

thongs--> well they hide an underwear-line/ more sexier/ make them feel sexy/ more comfortable to some women/dont squeze your thys/easier

panties--> some girls just dont like thongs, it makes you kinda feel like you dont have anything on , and that a big string is up your butt!so yeah... they are more comfortable..
