an open mind and the belief that the universe is to infinite for us to be alone and if we are, we have grossly missused our resources and have completely taken life for granted.

I believe it was Carl Sagan who said "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." There being aliens who have visited Earth is an extraordinary claim (as is arguments that the government has covered up the evidence). I would need to see the space ship, or the alien (not just a picture, which can be photoshopped - I'd need to see it in person), or see some technology that is definitely not human-made. I'd also like to know where the aliens came from, how long it took them to get here, how they managed the long trip, etc. Evidence of where the spacecraft landed and what the government did with it would be good, too.
Personally, I don't think any government is smart enough to keep something like aliens a secret. And if aliens came all the way to Earth, their technology must be far more advanced than ours (since we don't have the technology to make such a long trip), and I doubt they would come all this way and allow our stupid government to hide their existence from us - they would find a way to let everyone know they exist.
The idea of a million dollars existing is not an extraordinary claim. I've seen plenty of money - I've held hundreds of dollars in my hands at a single time. I know there are many people in this world far richer than I am, therefore it is not a stretch to think there exists millions of dollars out there somewhere (but, sadly, never in my bank account!). But aliens being on Earth is an extraodinary claim. I've never seen anything like an alien, never heard any communication from one, nothing even close. I think there must be other civilizations out there in the universe, but they haven't come here yet (or at least not in the last 10,000 years). If they could travel here, they could also just send a radio message to us, so why haven't they done that yet? It just doesn't add up.

There appears to be a conspiracy to make people believe in the absurd. lets analyse these assumptions; If An object appears in the firmament and it cannot be identified ,so how can any one say that it was not some of my relatives flying some type of man made aircraft? Now they called it a UFO. Of course if some one tries to fly clandestinely over the border he must definitively be an alien to our country.

either a mass invasion or the government coming on national television and saying that they have discovered life on another planet. It does not have to be intelligent life it could be just a microbe. That is what the rovers on mars are doing right now. One of them is drilling in an area known to contain ice. What they should do is send a rover to Jupiter's moon Europa. They have photos of iceplates with water flowing underneath them. Go dig there. Ice=water, water=microbiotic life.

If I find a dozen people that would tell you that I am God incarnate, would you start worshiping me?
Just because a few nuts on the fringe believe something doesn't make it fact. . . But to answer your question, I'd believe that Aliens exist when Larry King interviews one on CNN.

there is extra then one trillion cubed stars in the universe. If our celeb, the solar, has 8 planets, countless those stars could have a minimum of one. it may be frigging impossible that the earth is the only BLOODY PLANET that would desire to assist any form of existence in the full universe. So, yeah, there are aliens, no longer Hollywood aliens and in step with danger no longer abducting cows and stuff, yet there truthfully are aliens.

You don't have to convince me. I saw one while playing with my brothers and sisters. We all saw it .It was pretty scary to us back then, I don't know why.I was about 7 years or 8 years old.To think about it now,I wished we would have stayed where we were, instead of screaming and running into the house. If I saw the exact same thing now,I think it would be pretty awesome. Oh by the way, we saw a Flying Saucer, which stopped and hovered right above our heads. It was so close, you could see every little detail of it. Pretty Cool!

the thought that we're suppose to be the only living creatures in a universe that has millions if not billions of galaxies in which each one has billions if not trillions of stars (suns) and eachone can have up to 20 planets with the least of one planet.
i'd say we're not alone in this vast universe. we're not the only ones that have asked the same question you're asking.
the unverse is soooooo huge. life has to excist.
but for me, i'd have to see it first to honstly beleive.

I am convinced already that they exist and that there are millions or billions of planets in the universe that they inhabit.
None will ever visit earth but we may one day receive a signal that will be proof of their existence.
