Get a hold of the Encyclopedia of Super Heroes by Jeff Rovin, (Facts on File Publications) 1985.
It has hundreds of entries on super heroes, and gives a quote from almost all of them, on topics ranging from justice, goodness, benevolence, love and matrimony to communications, fair play, organized labor, the environment and metaphysics. The back cover alone is priceless, and if I had a scanner I‘d send it to you.

Going all the way back to the Superman radio show.
"this looks like a job for SUPERMAN" here would say this each time he changed from Clark Kent to Superman and his voice would deepen to show that he was now Superman. Also before he would fly he would say "Up Up and away" you could not see him so these saying became very famous. Their was a show called "The shadow" they would always start the show saying "what evil lurks in the hearts of men the shadow knows"
Spiderman is most famous for say "with great power comes great responsibility" and "It's your friendly neighborhood Spiderman"

you could make him totally cheap and have invincibility as a power. or bad guy catching or something. a catch phrase could be "take that Evil doer" or "Crime beware, captian cliche is here" something like that. different visions are good too, laser, electro, love
