About the only accurate information they publish is military secrets that are keeping our troops alive.
During my tour in Iraq my unit had some of the first IED jammers. At the time their very existence was classified because if the enemy found out about them they would change their tactics. The New York Times published not only the fact that these devices existed - but how they worked and how to defeat them!
Immediately after that article enemy changed the way they used their IEDs to negate our jammers - and our casualties from IEDs doubled. This newspaper printed information when they _knew_ that printing that information will kill US soldiers.

The exceptional factor to do could be to have multiple supply for information. I have located that there are a minimum of 2 aspects to each and every tale, and it is not ever a foul concept to appear at either one of them. Fox News has a tendency to have a conservative bias, while such a lot different information media have a tendency to have a liberal bias. Watch either one of them and check out to make a decision for your self how a lot of it's precise and what sort of of it's been stretched or manipulated one way or the other. That means you'll be able to uncover the reality, and the entire reality, however obviously no longer not anything however the reality.

In comparison to what? I think every thing we read, see, or hear from the media has a slant to it. You can try to be objective but the fact is that personal biases will creep in at least a little bit.

No news source is as objective as it once was. But, the NY Times is up at the top of the list for best sources.
