I personally looked at (and drove) the Tc, the Civic Si, the VW GTi, and the Acura RSX about a year ago. The Civic was the best all around car out of the bunch, and that's why there is one in my garage now. It took 5 months to get it, and I had to pay list price for it, but it was worth every penny spent and every minute waiting. As far as performance for the dollar, you can't beat the Si. If you're looking more for economy and utility, I would definitely go with the Fit. Honda products typically have higher resale, especially compared to Scion. The Yaris is an ok car, but there again, you get what you pay for. Anyhow, go drive them all, make your own decision! Good luck!!

Most of the car magazines love the Honda Fit and we all know the Civic is a great car.

I'd take the Fit over the Civic for the hatchback usefulness, but in performance terms, the Civic would win, especially the Civic Si coupe. The Tc isn't bad and comes well equipped, so it's worth a look.

I'd stay away from Yaris. Could be fun, but not nearly as much as the other cars listed. Yaris was designed for fuel economy only. Although at 2200 lbs, with a stick shift, it could be a fun thing to commute in.

It's more fun to drive a slow car fast then a fast car slow. But driving a fast car fast is a blast!

Have fun, stick to the Civic or Fit and the Tc

I would think the TC would be your best bet, looks good, 160hp engine and toyota build quality. The civic coupe is not bad either, I think it's 140hp unless you opt for the Si coupe, then that takes the cake. So...

In order,

Civic Si
Scion TC
Civic Coupe Ex
Honda Fit
Toyota Yaris

Choose Honda civic. Toyota Yaris, tc and fit are only carry out one generation. That is...no more...so the 2nd hand market or re-sell vale is very low. For out-looking, i like civic and tc. however, for the modification, civic has much room and many parts to be modified.

boo!!!!!!!! on fit and yaris...unless you are a college student....

scions are cool....but since it's a customizable car...you pay for every little thing you want on the vechile like cup holders! lol...i maybe a little bias because i own the 07 civic coupe...it's a better car...honda are very reliable and have great re-sale values...the civic is more expensive but it's worth it. I got a great deal on it, but any car that gives you 40 mph a gallon on the highway is great car for anyone...i suggest test driving and comparing prices...but the civic is a great car!

Depends on what your looking for. Personally I would go with the Scion TC.
Do you have a family? Maybe your family wouldn't have much room in this car. The Yaris is small too. But then again great on gas. In fact all the cars are small. BUT they are all great on gas. Your money, your car, you choice.

I'd go for the Civic. Get the EX model with the Nav option. If you want a sportier ride then that would be the time to consider th SI variant. I used to like the TC but it's getting old.
