The best way to be a better friend is to be patient with other's short comings. No friend is perfect, but being patient when other's fall will encourage the same kind of loyalty when you have a bad time. Listen to your friend and don't abandon them when they disappoint you. Even if it doesn't work out you can rest easy knowing you have tried to help.

You can go out of your way for your friends. Send them cards just because. Offer to babysit their children or pets. Hang out and make tea or coffee.. Listen more talk less. Friendship is a gift from GOD, so always do what you can you never know, you could be entertaining an angel or two:)
