No. Regretfully our international corporations are the major influence on politicians. There will be many more wars fought over natural resources and other economic matters.

Just the beginning of American imperialism. For too long Americans were nationalists, after WWII we decided to take a more global stance on many issues.
I tend to be more nationalistic, but I can not deny that we all live in a global community. Like it or not we are all joined economically. It is in our best interests to work together.
