I think it is just getting points....which doesn't make sense....but I can't think why else people would do it, and soooo many do!!

The only other thing is needing to say something while having nothing to say?

Because people think that a simple "yes" will take all your doubts away, apparently. And points, like everyone else said. Yahoo should make some rule that you have to have at least ten characters in your answer or something, but the again people would just be like "afasd yes." haha. I hardly think "no" is worth two points, but whatever. Amen. :]

Grr.. that annoys me, the one word answers. Most likely is because A. the person's asking a simple Yes or No question or B. the points.

You'd be surprised. I go to this category, "Polls and Surveys", and the top answerer has his answers to the maximum of three words. I'm like...grr, lol.

I had to give amy a point because that was funny. But I find most of them don't even read the question. or they only read the title of the question. For those people it is all about the points. but when i see someone as top contributer answer a questiion and it sucks. ooops am I allowed to say that. I wonder how they can be any kind of a contributor. thank you for letting me vent.

points.

seriously, though, until I'm at a high enough level to get to answer as many as I want in a day, I'd rather save my answers for questions that get at least a little interest out of me... some others are more worried about the points

properly this area is sorta for confident or no solutions.. I clarify so lots extra whilst human beings have truthfully proper questions, that are often in different sections, like words and Wordplay.

I would assume that they do it to get points.

Some may do it purposely to be annoying.
