Yes, your belly does feel tight! It is actually quite a strange thing to see your tummy become rock hard before your eyes! Most women have painless contractions weeks before they go into labor. They are perfectly normal and they are preparing your body to give birth.

Yes. It can become so tight that you feel nauseated. It's uncomfortable. But if there's no pain along with those contractions, consider them "practice"... braxton hicks.

yes - it's almost like a huge rubber band has been placed around your belly and it lasts for less than a minute each time.

yes, under braxton hicks it will too. Real contractions they will be VERY tight and along with very bad pains that progress at time passes.

yes then it should loosen up. I keep feeling my dogs stomache as we are expecting puppies today. Puppies keep moving but no contractions.
