I have read many questions and see that many people choose animals over humans, This completely astounds me. How can you look at an animal and say that they are more important. I am an animal lover but if it came down to the lives of my animals vs lives of my own family, my family would definatly be WAY more important. People get away with molesting children and murdering our young and get away scott free but someone kills a dog and people crusify them. Not to say that justice shouldn't be done for animals. I just think that the morals of people have failed. I just don't understand. No meaness please. I just want to hear opinions.

Children are way more important than animals.
They are the future and they need protected from those
that want to do them harm.

My sister in law told my brother if she had to choose between him and their kids or her animals her animals would come first. If someone told me that I would have just saved them the trouble and left first. I love my dog, but she's not more important than my boyfriend or my family. I think that's a rotten way to treat people. It's saying their lives are not important.

well the thought is because animals have no one watching over them , they have no voice .

i too am a huge animal lover...and though i do find them more important than some adults i know (lol) never a child.....
the world is just a sad backwards place......crazy isn't it?

I'd save the child. I bet that, faced with the same situation, 100% of everyone would save the child.
