They do shed less and less often as they get older, as their growing slows down. They also will eat less insects and more veggies.

If he is eating and deficating normally i wouldn't worry at all.

As they get older, they shed less. We had one of unknown adult age that shed only once a year or so. Shedding can also be influenced by temps and food availability.
