An engineer dies and goes up to the pearly gates. God is there because St Peter took a sick day. God says to the engineer "Sorry we can't take you here" and sends the engineer straight to hell. After being there awhile the engineer says to himself "Gosh, I'm sure there are some things I can do to make things better here." So he gets to work. A few weeks go by and God calls up Satan to say hello. Satan says "Hey God, thanks for sending that engineer here, we now have central air, escalators and hovercraft!" God says" Hey , I made a mistake! If you don't send him back right now then I'm going to sue!" Satan says " Ha! Where are YOU going to find a lawyer!"

Its a rip off and has been discontinued in some states. You are lucky if you get to talk to a clerk when you call in for assitance and no lawyer is coming to defend you for that kind of money.

If it's one of those pre-paid things where they solicit you directly by phone & you pay a monthly premium, they're not worth anything. The pre-paid programs administered by Unions, Employers, AARP, etc., such as ARAG & Signature are okay.

Read the proverbial fine print. Many people believe that the services promised, are more than really is. I think all of them identify that the services are LIMITED.
