Can the sperm actually travel to the womans ovaries for some reason unknown?

No, its not possible. There is no internal link between the inside of anus and the overy. The only remote possipbility is if the sperms get out of anus, drips into vagina and slide deep into the overy. In that case, its not because of anal sex, but rather because of the sperms dfitted into the vagina from the outside.

The sperm that makes it into the anus can't in any way shape or form make its way to fertilize an egg. That is just impossible period.
If some of the semen makes it way to the opening of your vagina.......there is a chance that a sperm can make its way to an egg and you can become pregnant.

No absolutly no possible way. Unless when he took his penis out some sperm accidently got inside the vagina, which would still be a major stretch.
