because they are uneducated, ignorant and spiteful. btw i am straight and couldn't care less if a guy goes out with another guy and a woman with another woman, they don't offend me, they have done nothing abhorent against me so why should i have to feel hatred towards people who are attracted to people of the same gender?

Most likely because they're probably gay or bi themselves and they're not yet comfortable. Another reason is because of the influences they receive from the ones around them. Overall, ignorance.

People fear what they do not understand. Their parents taught them to hate. They are uneducated and not very bright. There are millions of reasons for people being a bigot. I'll never understand it myself. I was taught to love and respect people for who they are, not what they are.

their homophobia because they know as soon as they hang out with them they are gonna turn gay and thats gonna ruin the whole thing that their parents thought them about being gay and the idea that its wrong.
