Unless some radical right-winger gets in, with a far-right "pro-family" Congress, I really don't think that it would be plausible. I really hope not, all law-abiding Americans deserve their rights.
Danie- You don't believe in homosexuality? Last time I checked, uh it exists, and in responding to another of your answers, it has existed far longer than "the 50s".

No, because backlash is caused by a disruption to gender roles and a desire by some of the previously repressed gender to revert to the original way things were done. When both partners are of the same sex, there is no disruption to gender roles.
