InfraRed On fujitsu seimens amilo m1437 laptop?!?

i have an amilo m1437 laptop, and the irda doesnt work, well the remote it came with does but i cant find any settings on the pc about it and it wont let my phone send anything to it , and i have tried several phones.

i do know where the sensor is btw and i have turned the ir on on my phone to send it..

u have to find the infared sensor, it is kinda like a laser. u have to put the two infared sensors face to face.
