-ex: how earthquakes form?

Use your imagination, girl, don't expect others to do your work for you. Is there something about a natural phenomenon that interests you? If so, use it for your basis. Pick a name for your character, I assume female, and maybe use an animal as a sidekick? Take real people and exaggerate their goods or bads to find your heroine and/or villian. This is a good exercise, a good way to hone your imagination. Use it! Good luck!

One day, Shelby the goddess of Stupidness, and her cousin, Paragon, the god of Pears and being dumb, were playing outside on the beach. Shelby, was playing Volleyball by her self. Paragon wanted to get a tan so he layed down by the sun. Shelby kicked the volleyball, and onto Paragon's back. He was sunburned, so he screamed in pain when the volleyball hit his back. He got really mad at Shelby so he kicked the ball so far in the sky, it stayed there. They waited untill night time for it to fall down. They looked in the sky, and the ball appeared to look like a star, but bigger and slightly brighter. Paragon was dumb, so he threw a pear at the ball in the sky. Then he threw a few more pears at the bright object in the sky. The object appeared to have big craters in it, because Paragon threw the pears at it. Shelby called it the moon, because she liked to moon people in Athens. The End..

Actually I am writing a book right now that is going to involve witches as the good guys and religious fanatics as the bad ones. I think it is going to be great.
