Well, I got in touch with a Disney World representative to get a real-deal, no-confusion answer for you, and she told me that while there's no accurate way to gauge future attendance patterns at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, patterns do, of course, emerge from past attendance.

As a rule, weekends tend to be a little less active than weekdays, though the difference is very slight. The most crowded times at all parks are obviously the holiday periods and holiday weekends, with the weeks around Christmas and New Year's being the busiest of all. Other peak periods, my representative said, include the summer months -- June through August -- when children are out of school and family vacations are planned. Individual holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, July 4th, and Thanksgiving, are also extremely busy.

In case you're interested in possibly altering the week you visit Disney World so it isn't so crowded, I got some information for you on the specific times when the park is least (and most) crowded -- these, however, are representative only and are not to be construed as firm patterns. Another thing to remember is that long lines as Magic Kingdom Park don't necessarily translate to long lines at Epcot or Disney-MGM Studios.

Regardless, the least crowded times to visit Disney World -- meaning that there may be SOME lines, but by and large most attractions may be visited with minimal waiting -- are as follows:

The second week of January through the first week of February
The week after Labor Day until the end of September
The week after Columbus Day until Veterans Day weekend
The week after Veterans Day until Thanksgiving

The periods when Disney World sees "average" attendance - meaning many people are visiting but the line wait times are still fairly comfortable -- are as follows:

The first week of January
The second week of February through Presidents' weekend
The end of February through the third week of March
The second week of April through the first week of June
The last week of August through Labor Day
The first two weeks of October
Thanksgiving week through December 22

Finally, here are the official MOST crowded periods at Disney World -- meaning times when lines may form in all areas and wait times of an hour may be expected at the most popular attractions:

Martin Luther King Weekend
Presidents' weekend
The last week of March and the first half of April
The second week of June through the third week of August
Columbus Day weekend
Veterans' Day weekend
December 21 through (and including) New Year's Day

As you can see, the week after the Fourth of July falls into the "most crowded" period (the second week of June through the third week of August). If possible, you might want to consider a different time to visit -- or you can just be prepared for longer lines and grin and bear it!

I hope this helps -- have a wonderful trip!

The whole summer is busy at Disney. The closer you can get to the very beginning of June or end of August, the lower the attendence. 4th of July will be busy because of the fireworks and a lot of people getting that week off, so the week after may be a little less busy, but still busy compared to the rest of the year.

To get the lowest crowds you want to go in off season. If you go when school is in session and avoid holidays, the crowds are much lower and weather tends to be better as well, not to mention better prices and discounts.

So yes, the crowds will probably be a little lower after the 4th of July, after the whole week of the 4th anyway, but it is still going to be busy, summer time can be really packed, and hot.

Sorry but most of the summer months at Disney and the other area theme parks are pretty busy. This is usually the time when most people are on summer break, on vacation, or are using their timeshare weeks. With a little planning, you can make it through the parks within a reasonable amount of time. Here are some time saving tips
1. Buy your attraction tickets ahead of time
2. Delay going to the theme parks by one hour. Most of the morning rush at the gates when the parks open is low
3. Pick up a map of the attractions you are visiting before going. Map out what rides and shows you want to see and stick to the schedule. This will save you time from wander through the park looking for things to do.
Hope this helped

The week after the 4th will be one of the busiest times to go, just think everyone will be off work for the Holidays. Alot of people take vacation during that time, plus that is the peak of summer vacation. I hope that you have fun and stay safe on your vacation, but If I were you I would pick a better time to go, like the end of April if possible or the very beginning of May.

Have fun and stay safe.

The first busiest time of year is Christmas to New Years,
the 2nd busist is Easter week and Third busiest is generally the entire summer June-August. If you can swing it, I would suggest visiting anytime from Sept 1 onward. Even Labor Day weekend is less crowded because it's more of a "picnic/BBQ" with family/friends holiday than a travel holiday.

Yes it will be slower (relatively speaking) but still busy.

The 4th is on a Wed this year so many will take the whole week off. The following week will be slower everywhere.

Oh no - it is still very busy. Crowds don't begin to dissipate until mid September.
