If that's all that is damaged, you can get away with as little as about $60. About $20 for the headlight from the auto parts store. About $20 for the tail light. And about $20 for the manual that can tell you how to replace them yourself. See if your auto parts store has a "Chilton's" manual for your car.

That depends on what is wrong with it. Did you get into an accident, or did they just quit working? If they quit working, you probably just need to change the light bulbs. They cost only a few bucks, and if you need help putting them in, an employee at any decent auto supply store can help you.
If you need to have the casing replaced, you'll have to go to a garage for that. Try to avoid national chains such as Midas and Meineke, because they're a total rip off. If you buy the pieces they'll need to do the job beforehand, you'll save a lot of money. A thermostat, for example retails at around $7, but a chain store will charge you $30...especially since you're a girl. To fix your tail light, it really shouldn't cost more than $30.
Good luck.

I would say if the headlight and tail lights were not working then it is the headlight switch.
If it is in the dash say about 100-150 Parts and labor.
If it is on a shaft on the steering column that 150-300 as you must pull the wheel to get at the wireing.

If it's just the light bulb, do it yourself. Just pop open your hood and remove the clips to take the headlight off. It's not too difficult, you could probably find specific instructions for your vehicle online. If you need a new head light casing it will cost the amount of the light casing as well as labor.
