i've been having it my whole life (13yrs)
it's really hard to explain, but i'll try.
i am nowhere. it's peaceful, when i start to hear things, i can never remember what.
the thing that's saying the things is constantly growing (figuratively) and i can't see him. it is a man, though. it doesn't have a voice, it's just male.
the sayings get gradually angrier, until they get terrifying.
sometimes there are other things, like a chicken, a shoot of a plant; a girl who looked like a japanese cartoon, with green hair. etc etc.
then the chicken, etc tries to reason with the voice, and it just gets angrier. (i dont know why, but i just know it's reasoning, even tho i cant remember what it says.) then the voice gets angrier and it goes on for hours, me getting terrified.
it seems to happen more when i'm tired; or sleeping in the car. if i'm completely smashed, like now, sometimes i get it when i'm awake, and i fall over, shivering and crying. hope u can help?

I don't have an answer for you either but this part:

the thing that's saying the things is constantly growing (figuratively) and i can't see him. it is a man, though. it doesn't have a voice, it's just male.

is the exact same kind of dream I've had my entire life as well!! I had it a lot more as a child usually when I was sick or really tired. Only the thing in my dream that is growing isn't a man... well I guess it could be because I never know exactly what it is. But it gets bigger and the voice gets not really louder but more intense (in like a strobe light kind of flashy way or something... )
It sometimes happens to me (the whispery voice thing) when I'm awake as well... and apparently my boyfriend had the same thing when he was a kid.
Don't know what causes it but I can tell you that it gets better as you get older (both of ours did). And now I hardly ever get it. Also when you are awake try closing your eyes and focusing your mind on something else to force it to stop. That always helped me. If it doesn't stop though you might want to see a psychitrist (not as scary as people think) because it is so intense. You might actually have schiziphrenia or something. Who knows.. I might too.

Maybe you had a scary time when you were younger. Could be that you're remembering hearing arguments while you were a baby, maybe you saw something similar to this on TV, or maybe it's a collection of symbols your brain has accumulated. My opinion is that the man's voice represents a fear of impending responsibility, the chicken is a symbol that your sense of humor will help you through difficult times. The plant is a symbol of something positive in your life - it's a living plant, meaning it has safely grown from a seed, and it has roots. It could be a symbol of someone in your life who has a strength that you admire, or wish to learn from (a grandmother or a friend, maybe). I think the japanese girl is your sense of creativity. If you put all these together, I'd guess that you are facing something difficult (or have already gone through it) and that you will be able to draw on different resources (humor, creativity, the strength of a friend or family member) to get through it and thrive.
I think it happens when you're sleeping or smashed because that is when your guard is down. The fact that this comes to you when you're awake (even though you're smashed) means to me that maybe it's very important and something you need to find a meaning to before it will stop.
That's just me, though. Good luck to you!

I presume you're taking about 'choose' desires and not those you've once you're asleep? imagine of what you opt for - imagine it, entertain more than a number of concepts about it, study it, save pictures or pictures of it round you, make up thoughts on your head the position you get it, and sense how having it can make you sense. concepts are an potential, a ingenious potential, and see you later as you concentration your concepts on what you opt for, and not on what you do not opt for, you're on the right song to making some thing solid take position. only make efficient you aren't from now on attempting to regulate somebody else interior the approach. consistently say to your self that each and each body your desires are coming actual interior the perfect genuine way for all worried and interior the suitable timing.

You may be leaving th t.v. on at night, or not be getting enough sleep, or having wierd conversations during the day, or you could be experiancing a hard ime in your life. Maybe your lonely, whatever it may be I hope it turns out good for you. for now I would suggest a warm glass of vanilla milk and a bubble bath and some soothing music. see if that helps.

Well, have you done something bad or do you have a secret and you're afraid if you tell someone they'll yell at you?
There are tons of things that it could mean but I think you would be the only one who would know.
