I don't know about them, but I'm a 16 year old girl who knows premarital sex is wrong. I understand that sex is a gift and can only be given once.
I have:
-Morals
-Respect for my body
-Self Value (please don't confuse this with being conceited)
-Intelligence
-Quality.

It isn't difficult to lose one's virginity in the physical sense. Having sex for the first time is a big deal, or at least should be a big deal for either male or female. When a girl makes the decision to do it for the first time, she is deciding whether or not she can trust the person she is engaging in sexual intercourse. Males usually believe they become men when they engage in intercourse. It is more about "scoring". It's something they can either brag about. Sex is about fun and feeling good at such a young age for males. They want to do it as soon as possible. Whereas women, they are waiting for the right man. My sister lost her virginity at sixteen, which I think is far too young, but I waited until 21. Glad I did. Emotionally, women aren't ready to handle intimacy at a young age, although they think they are. Some women find it difficult to do the deed mainly because they are scared of the pain. Men have no pain to deal with. Also, women are worried about possible pregnancy and nowadays there are STD's to worry about. Regardless of how you look at sex, first time or not, it is a big deal, loaded with responsibilty. So, yes, it should be at least a little difficult to lose your virginity emotionally.

It's not difficult it's more of a principal. A community with morals wants to see their girls be virgins @ the wedding ceremony but very few are concerned if the guy is a virgin. *ooooh is the bride wearing white?*
However, physically and emotionally a young woman has to take in consideration of penetration and the breaking of the Hymen. A guy that's rough can be devastating to her. Any woman needs to be prepared for sexual intercourse, [internal lubing, relaxing and psychologically ready]. Women seem to have more to lose yet be responsible for.

it's not more difficult as compared to not as common in that girls don't generally go around claiming they are or aren't virgins. Boys are a lot more open to bragging about things like that too, so even a guy says he has lost his virginity, it's not always the case. Boys are always trying to upstage each other. Girls tend to keep a lot of things like that to themselves, not all girls, but most. I was in a class in high school with this girl ( everyone knew she was a slut) who decided to announce in a boastful tone to everyone in the class that her boyfriend's mom caught them in the act. So, while girls are a little more reserved in telling people about losing their virginity, they do just as easily as the boys do.

It isn't more difficult to loose, it is just more difficult to deal with. Society has a lot of double standards and this is one of them, if a guy looses his virginity is it cool, but if a girl looses her virginity she is a tramp. But I came to the conclusion a long time ago that there shouldn't be any double standards and if a guy sleeps around he is a slut too, so I wouldn't want anything to do with him either. We all should follow the same moral rules no matter what sex we are.

well because boys normally (im not saying all boys) look forward to losing their virginity before getting married or going to college or something like that and girls noramlly (not all girls) like to wait after they get married. and plus sometimes a group of boys may lose their virginity to the same girl.

Since the catholic church started cracking down on it's randy priest community, boys and girls are about on par with rate of virginity losses.

It's no different for a girl than for a boy. All they have to do is have sex one time, and it's gone. What makes you think it's more difficult for a girl?! That's ridiculous.
