We're going to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow for a couple of days and I was wondering where the locals eat. We're staying at a hotel near The Galleria Mall. There's a local Mexican restaurant there we like to eat at where the food's good, but cheap. I'd like to maybe find something else this time. We'll be going to South Beach the next day and I have no idea where to eat that won't cost an arm and a leg. It will be two adults and a child. Any type of cuisine is fine.

We're driving, so I don't want to go to an airport to eat. I've been to Bubba Gump's in Daytona.

two days ago i went to a restaurant on south beach called Nexxt
(it has two x's, thats not a typo)

i forget exactly where it is, but i know its RIGHT by the shore.. like maybe three minutes walking

the food is amazing.. like everything they serve is
they have i think 9 pages of different entrees haha.. its unbelieveable

but only go if youre really hungry... and i mean that... their portions are hugeee
i ended up going at 9 oclock after we got hungry enough to eat atleast half of our dinner haha

trust me, its really goodd

and they have lots of great shopping right around there, so you can hang out around there afterwards
just ask someone where nexxt is, and they'll tell you, its a pretty popular restaurant

If you are into Italian food, you must go to Anthony's @ Runway 84. Located within the FT Airport. You won't be disappointed. If you are staying near the Galleria Mall, try the Bubba-Gump Shrimp Co.

Try Las Palmas on Hwy. A1A for Ft. Lauderdale area. I ate at Quinn's in South Beach but all restaurants like this one on the main road next to the beach are expensive. Someone who previously anwsered a South Beach question said The Cuban areas there have inexpensive food in South Beach
