Slope is rise over run. So take the change in y over the change in x. [-4 - (-4)] / [-1 - 8] = 0/-9 = 0. So the slope is zero.

y2-y1/x2-x1 = m

(-4- -4)/ (8 - -1) = 0/9 = 0

m = 0
