The way the capitalistic system has developed in the USA, the middle classes are often the working classes. The lower classes are made up of the service industries. They work to serve the others and are in return paid and served by the middle and upper classes.

Actually, 90% of the service industry is optional. They are used because it is convenient, not because it is required. Middle and Upper classes do not eat out because they have to it's because they want to.

However, in answer to your question, people will always due what they must in order to get by.

I think you can be middle class and still be a refuse collector. Whats middle class anyway? Office worker? Whats the lowest job a middle class person could have.

I did a little research and found out that class is not just determined by wealth or employment. There are a lot of racial, cultural and financial factors. Interesting.

The middle class is the working class. Upper class aren't laborers and the poor do little for the economy. I'm simply glad that this situation will not be.

There's very few people left in the world who isn't a member of the working class in one way or another.

So, that'd probably be about 99.98 percent of the total population.

They would have no option but to clean up after themselves. Yet, as you said, they would not - some definitely won't, I am sure.

This is precisely why we must learn tolerance of one another. We must learn to co-exist and put aside all pettiness.
