How do you right a piece of music without copying another song , and trying to make the instruments go along with them?

There are many ways. Standard notation, Guitar Tab, Classical notation.

listen to your favorite artist for inspiration. Go for a walk, and then your creative mind will come out more. Fresh air is good for creativity. I find the best way to make a song is to whistle when walking outside, just whistle anything ,and before long , you hear an original tune!

The other way is to use a software sequencer, like Ableton "Live" and just randomly assign the midi notes to the seqencer and loop it until you get a tune. Then just edit it until it sounds to your taste.. This is a sample of one of my tunes..
