If you are familiar with eminent domain, the Kelo case is very interesting. The judges ruled incorrectly that private property could be taken and given to other private individuals.

Here's one that's going on right now. When the Olympic torch went through Alaska, this high school kid held up a "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" banner, in an effort to try and get on TV. The banner was not on school grounds. The kid was expelled from school, and in the lengthy court battle that has followed, the principal has said that the kid was "promoting drug use" at a school-sanctioned event. This case was just taken up by the Supreme Court a couple of weeks ago, as a "limitations of free speech on students" type case.
