anytime i debate with liberals on any given subject, they can never give a straight answer.

i will ask a legitimate question and even provide details and examples and the only answers i get from them are:

"forget your meds today" "brainwashed by rush i see" "turn off fox news" "you ignorant racist homophobic nazi" "how do idiots like you have enough brains to run a computer" "is that you ann" "your question is too stupid to answer"and etc. or they will change the subject to something totally unrelated to the question i asked.

for example. i'll ask why liberals preach tolerance the loudest but practice it the least and they'll answer with "why do contards support bush's oil war and yadda yadda". or they'll find a typing error and use it as an excuse to not answer.

don't all these things prove that they have no answer and are trying to dodge the question?

They don't/can't give a straight answer because in order to do so, they would have to admit they're hypocrites.

No, this only proves that there are people on BOTH sides who know nothing about politics, but will make snide remarks with slight political connotations (Liberals embrace communism, Conservatives are for Bush's "Oil War", etc) in a pathetic attempt to make people believe they know something.

On your example, you need to elaborate on your statement. You say liberals don't practice tolerance, but without examples, your question is more of a talking point than a statement of real value. It would be like a liberal asking "Why do "neocons" hate women?" I mean the question really generalizes an entire group of people and has little style, much less substance.

Also straight answers aren't always possible. The world is not black and white, yes or no. For many questions in life, there is no simple, straightforward answer.

One of the reasons you're not getting a straight answer is because you're starting off on the offensive. Your example " I'll ask why liberals preach tolerance the loudest but practice it the least" is offensive and a huge generalization. I can make that statement toward liberals AND conservatives. If you want to ask a question, do it in an intelligent, thoughtful way. Don't assume you know this particular liberal practices tolerance any less than you do. Open up your mind.

Because I don't sit on yahoo all day. I come and go. As for other liberals who might debate I don't know thier story because we don't all live under one roof.
As for the question why do liberals preach tolerance the loudest but practice it the least?? How about maybe just maybe they are answering and asking the same question and it's falling on deaf ears. After a while people get loud to be heard.
I do have answers!! I just avoid the same repeated questions over and over again!

"why liberals preach tolerance the loudest but practice it the least"

You need to be more specific about what you mean. Do you mean religious tolerance? If so, then most liberals believe in separation of church and state on all levels- education, politics, even what is put on our money.

Example of tolerance:

They are being tolerant in the fact that not everyone believes in the Christian God, and therefore should not be forced to pray to Him at a public school. Thus, no prayer at all, but a moment of silence. Now if they were INTOLERANT, then they would get together and decide that all school children had to pray to their accepted God- how would you feel if your child had to pray to Allah every day?

I certainly have won countless comparable responses to my questions. As I constantly evaluate the source i do no longer take offense at being called a libtard, recommended to get my GED, insulted for my loss of worldly know-how, accused of being a white trash welfare queen, etc. of course the failure to offer a as we communicate answer and the regularly occurring reflects of lack of understanding at the instant are not constrained to liberals. One shouldn't generalize.

Since you are not one of them, you do not have 1st amenment rights and if you do not like it, they will take your 2nd amendment rights as well so they can run roughshod over you and your family.

Please do me a favor, they are not liberals, they are marxists and intend on destroying the US and capitalism. They intend to led the lives of the rich and famous as they do now once they take control of the country and are the "Vanguard of the Elite".

The link below will take you to their game plan which they have been following faithfully for over 60 years.

Make no mistake, we are in a war and the enemy is within and their goal is the total control of your lives and your money.

The answer is they do not have an answer for their stupidity. They have no facts to back up their silly arguments. They are the laughing stock of America and should go crawl back under the frivolous rock from which they came.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you post an unfounded incendiary question. Do you have any facts to back up such a question or are you just being a jerk? If that is your example of a legitimate question I can understand why you don't get straight answers. How is someone supposed to answer a question that is really just your opinion?

Now for my straight answer to your question. Your statement is false.

Perhaps it is the style in which you ask your questions. I haven't read them so I cannot say. I am conservative and I have decent debates with people from all political ideologies. However, I do find that people are more prone to attack when they perceive insult and this often occurs even when insults were not intended. Yahoo Answers in general tends to be very inflammatory and reactionary.

You don't get a straight answer, because you don't ask straight questions. Your example is hilarious. "Why do liberals preach tolerance the loudest but practice it the least?" What a very fair and objective question. You create straw men examples of what liberals are like, and you expect people to play along with your little game?

All this proves is that you ask loaded, skewed questions that people aren't stupid enough to take at face value.
