Well the price is endless, if you are doing it yourself they have kits for the v6 to v8 conversion. Where are you getting the 350? is it a used or Rebuild, if it is used you will problemly want to do some work on it before dropping it in, like front and rear seals, check the main bearing things that are easy to fix before you drop it in. If you have the money the you could just pay someone to do it for you, but I would bet that would run close to $3k before it is done. I would do it my self and make a poject out of it, you can buy a 350 rebuild for $1k.

It all comes down to the old saying, What do you have more of? Time or Money

Classic Industries carries a conversation kit to go from 6 to a V8 for your Nova. You need to change a few things before you do it plus know what year 350 you have. Oil sumps are located differently on some engines. Call Classic Industries they sell lots of Nova parts and conversion kits. You can download their catalog online.

Well just swapping from a a 6 to a 8 is not easy. Say 1000-3000 that is for parts, labor, engine, and all the modiacations you will have to make to get it to fit.
