You are very right. But, wow, I didn't realize anybody thought Nazi's were anything but right wing...Maybe it was because of the name National Socialist...

Their brand of socialism certainly has nothing in common with the socialist government coalition in France at one time or even the one that the president of Venezuela is advocating.

Also, conservatives would not claim that ideology because they believe their regimes are without failures. They do not see the parallels at all.

Fascism is a left-wing ideology. Nazi is short for National Socialist, and they certainly understood what the terminology meant when they named their party that.
8th grade civics classes almost anywhere you go in the US teach American government, so hardly anyone would be expected to understand the finer points of fascism from that.
The Nazis practiced eugenics, nationalized almost all industry and institutions in Germany, and did their best to suppress religion. Those are not conservative values by anyone's definition.
So, the specific answer to your question is "never". Because fascism is not a right-wing ideology.

Nazis were NOT Christian. Under Hilter the Nazi party adopted a pagan ideology and rejected the church. Members were 'baptized' into the 'Church of Germany'-atheist pagans --like so many of American Liberals. Most on the FAR LEFT are self admitted secularists and have more in common with Nazis than Republicans do. They don't believe in God or respect individual life or rule of law, free market or capitalism.

Both Nazism and the religion of the far left (Secular Humanism) are derived from the same assumptions--man is perfectible, there is no divine authority and all morals are 'relative'.
The Liberals divisive class warfare and race baiting closely resembles similar Nazi sloganism and demagoguery to incite racial hatred towards other 'sub-human' groups.

Libs support abortion,'therapeutic genetic cloning, evolution, embryonic stem cell research and assisted suicide--frighteningly reminiscent of the 'human experimentation' of Nazi Germany. Libs support affirmative action--quite similar to Nazi belief in the "Aryan master race".

Sorry-many of you should have failed your Civics class--Nazism is most mirrored by the Liberals.

In California a bill was passed to illegalize the breading of certain species of dogs.
What does that sound like to you? Yes, like the holocaust.
What party passed it?
I was surprised, but it was the liberals.
The liberals also were for slavery, it was the conservatives who knew that human beings are all equal. So the liberal party overcompensates by trying to give minorities extra rights, they would have been the same party in Nazi Germany saying it was acceptable to exterminate the Jews.... well, until the Jews had rights to vote.

So, nice try.

You are trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Facism or Socialism or are governmental systems. Conservatism is an ideology not a governmental system.
Whether Nazi's believed in some things that conservatives believe in is a moot point.

The facist government had total control of the entire country's resources.

That, in addition to being the definition of fascism, is also the definition of socialism.

You misunderstand the difference between an economic system and a government system.

They were fascists governmentally, and socialists economically.

Really??????? Lets look at your "facts" with the real deal and then tell me which Party has the same agenda:
The official title of the Nazi Party was "The National Socialist Workers Party of Germany". Hitler and the Brownshirts advocated the nationalization of education, health care, transportation, national resources, manufacturing, distribution and law enforcement.
Hitler came to power by turning the working class, unemployed, and academic elite against the conservative republic. After Der Fuhrer's election ceased being a political conspiracy and was transformed into a fashionable social phenomenon, party membership was especially popular with educators, bureaucrats, and the press.
Being a Nazi was "politically correct". They called themselves "The Children of the New Age of World Order" and looked down their noses at everyone else. As Hitler acquired more power, he referred to his critics as "The Dark Forces of Anarchy and Hatred". Anyone who questioned Nazi high-handedness in the German press was branded a "Conservative Reactionary". Joseph Goebbels, minister of communications, proclaimed a "New World Order".
Hitler demanded that all good people register their guns so that they wouldn't fall into the hands of "terrorists and madmen".Right-wing fanatics of the "Old Order" who protested firearms registration were arrested by the S.S. and put in jail for "fomenting hatred against the Government of the German people".
The Gestapo began to confiscate and seize the homes, businesses, bank accounts, and personal belongings of wealthy conservative citizens who had prospered in the old Republic.
Public schools rewrote history and Hitler youth groups taught the children to report their parents to their teachers for anti-Nazi remarks. Such parents disappeared. Pagan animism became the state religion of the Third Reich and Christians were widely condemned as "right wing fanatics.
The Democrats are pushing for control of school choice by taking away a parents right to choose a better school and using vouchers to pay for it.. They want government controled health care, making it "UPC" to drive certain vehicles, stopping drilling on US land, only amount of time until they mak this a police state.. The Democrats want to hand our country over to the UN for a "One World Government" , By implementing their welfare plans and dependency on government, they turn people against those that work and want to take what we have and give it to others so we can all be the same...And the rest..... Self explanitory............... Shame on those of you who are willing to give away our Freedoms only to send a "message".
