I drink a lot of water all day...I go 8-12 times during the day only...is this normal? I stop drinking water after 7pm so I don't go in the middle of the night...

This is normal. If you think you have an overactive bladder see the doc and he will make a diagnosis and treat it. Do you have sudden uncontrollable urges to urinate? This is one of the most frequent signs besides frequency.

I barely ever drink water and I still pee that often, sometimes more. There is medication for people who feel like they go too often, I think some people just have smaller bladders. *shrug* Notice how overactive bladders are most common in women. I've just learned to live with it because I don't think I could afford the treatment.

Nah water does that to you...the way you would know if you had overactive bladder, is if you drink nothing and have to pee twice in an hour(trust me I have it), and you have interrupted sleep because you are getting up more than three times to pee, or if you must always know where the bathroom is, wherever you go because you might have to pee. Or if your bladder feels really full and you go and sit down and only a little comes out..then maybe oab

It's healthy to get enough water...as long as you have a convenient bathroom, you should be fine. I try to drink at least six to eight glasses of water a day. The only possible problem is if you drink too much, you could get water intoxication. Check any concerns with your doctor.

This can be a sign of diabetes. Have yourself tested.
