I agree with you completely. Michigan and USC will be the teams to beat, followed by West Virginia, Texas and Arkansas. Michigan will win it all I my opinion.

1. USC
2. Michigan
3. Arkansas
4. West Virginia
5. Boise State
6. Ohio State
7. Texas
8. LSU
9. Wisconsin
10. Florida (wouldn't be ranked this high if they didn't win it last season.
As for Notre Dame, they are the most over rated team in NCAA history. They play no one besides Michigan and USC and they get their buts handed to them. Then get decapitated in the bowl game. Notre Dame deserves NOTHING until they play more than two real opponents.

Are you kidding? LSU has everybody coming back except Russell and Bowe. The two QB's behind Russell (Flynn and Perilioux) are as good if not better than he was. I find it hilarious that the only SEC team in your top 5 is Arkansas. I take it you are a Big 10 fan, even though their 2 best teams had their asses handed to them when they stepped out of that cream puff conference they play in. The top 10 teams in the country are:
LSU
USC
Florida
Tennesee
Texas
Auburn
Wisconsin
West Virginia
Michigan
Georgia

I think TCU will finish up there by the end of the year, but will never be put up there for the preseason rankings.

Everyone looks good in the spring, what counts is where they are at Thanksgiving. You gotta plug Louisville in there. Personally, I think Michigan will have a down year 8-4, which for most programs would be ok.

Definetly not Michigan. They're recruiting class is extremely weak. USC is the clear favorite for just about everyone, but look for strong armed, mobile, full-time starter Tim Tebow take the reigns for Florida and lead them to the national championship game. Again.

Your list is a good one. It's hard to tell right now but if you go w/the usual suspects, chances are you won't be too far off. I may throw in a dark horse or two on the list.
Texas A&M
Va Tech
