Dion Phaneuf by far, his hits and strong, huge and bonecrushing. Unlike Cam Janssen, Phaneuf's hits are actually clean and legal. McLaren is another good hitter, definantly my second pick. I just can't stand cheap shots or players that don't get hit hard and take a dive to make it look worse than it is.

Brian Campbell LOL. Like most people have said, Dion Phaneuf by far. He is the modern day Scott Stevens with better scoring ability. Brian Campbell ha-one hit on a guy with his head down.

I agree Dion Phaneuf is a great hitter...but keep a lookout for Colby Armstrong from Pittsburgh....he's been known to throw some bonecrushing hits.

last year...erik rasmussen. he was a great hitter but he hasn't been hitting at all this year and i'm disapointed. i dunno who is right now..i could be a homer and say cam janssen but i'm not an idiot
and colby armstrong throws his elbow to much....
