The Asians that crossed the land bridge between Russia and Alaska back in the Ice Age. Later on they became referred to as Indians.

If by "America" you mean the continents, it's impossible to say who the "first person" was. Humans first came over when there was land over what's now the Bearing Strait. It was a gradual emigration. They became the ancestors of the American Indians (and for the record, before the PC police gives me thumbs-down for saying the "I" word: I have yet to meet an American Indian who actually prefered to be called a "Native American").

If by "America" you mean any part strictly named America (after Amerigo Vespucci), or "The United States of America", again the question makes no sense as there were already people living on the continents before those names came about.

before Playtectonics everthing was combined, so there really was no America

so we would have to figure out when America started

so we could say Columbus, becuase it was not called America before that

... I think the proper term is Native Americans, or perhaps Indigenous Americans.

"Indians" are from India.
