cuz my front yard has no tree and now is about to be summer n its gonna be so hot AND I LIVE IN ATLANTA GA. and i need like those big trees that can cover my house like a shadow

It is very expensive to do that but, just look into the land scape contractors in the yellow pages, you better have lots of money for this project no matter where you live.

probably not a 100' tree.

You can get them very large though. I've transplanted trees up to 15" caliper and nearly 40 feet tall. I've seen taller transpanted before. It is very expensive. Very expensive. Trees that size could cost in excess of $15k or $20k..probably more for one tree.

It can be done, but it would be a lot cheaper to plant some smaller trees and pay the a/c bill until they grow.

big trees don't transplant well.. it can be done, but it's not the best idea.. big $$$$, chance of having to cut doen a dead tree in a year... my wallet would say NO.
