Yes cramps in your belly could be normal during pregnancy. I just recently went to the emergency room for cramps in my lower belly and i am 31 weeks pregnant.....They just told me to drink lots of fluids (water and juice) and walk around slowly and that it might be from doing way to much to fast.....Also sleeping on your left side (with a body pillow) at night could help ease the cramps so by the morning you won't feel them as bad or as much.

*Good Luck and Congratulations!*

I would just call your doctor and check with them, They will probably make you come in to check you. You feel like you have an empty tummy because the baby is taking everything away from you, my best advise is EAT all you can because you will have an excuse for being big LOL............ Try taking vitamins. Hope I could help.

cramps can mean anything when pregnant. more than likely they are growing pains. your body has to change A LOT in 9 months isn't really a lot of time to do it in.

if the pain is severe or you just get that "something isn't right" feeling, call your doctor.

it could also be the result of severe morning sickness...

best of luck to you & congratulations!
