Who is your favorite songwriter lyrically ?
I personally think Paul Simon is the best lyricist hands down.

Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Lindsey Buckingham/Stevie Nicks, Bob Dylan in that order.....though Paul Simon is great, and I like that choice because one of my favorite songs "Father and Daughter" is by him.

Lately though I've been enthralled by the voice of Loreena McKennit.

hmm..I always thought Pete Wentz has a deep sort of sense with lyrics, because when I look at them, they look so..weird but when I think about them, it sorta makes more sense.
Other than him, Amy Lee from Evanescence and Butch Walker =)
