She sounds like she just wants to be known as liking girls for attention and to be trendy. I think she only likes guys and just says she likes you. You should test her.

13 & 14. There is so much still to happen. With a greater acceptance (but still a LONG way to go) people may feel more comfortable to explore their sexual orientaion and may question their presupposed identity. We are more open to the possibilities of "who we are". At 13 & 14 we may know exactly where we are at. But we may not.
Sure, it could be a 'phase'. Time will tell.

ohh how cute, well babay I personally think that she' both confused and still a little bit afraid/nervous to come out of the closet, she doesn't want to let you down meaning she cares for you a lot, but yet and still she's trying to please her friends by kissing their ****es, so that they can like her/ accept her while looking good in front of them. Basically she wants a girl behind close doors and a boy out in public. sorry to say it but you need to sit down sweetheart and have a serious talk with her and tell her how you fell who knows maybe things will change good luck and by the way keep in mind that yall are only 13 and 14 she's still a little on the inmature side/childish side but if nothing changes more pretty girls out there got to go now smootches.*

A phase, if anything. "Faze" is a verb ("Her come-on didn't faze me." Or maybe it did?)
Maybe she trusts only you with her "secret." Or generally doesn't want her sexual preference to be public knowledge, so she fronts to the crowd.
Maybe she wants to manipulate you into "coming out" to her(whether apropos or not), and is insincere.
Maybe she's bi-sexual.
Maybe she's unsure about her preferred... ah, preference.

the question should be, are you prepared to be with someone who wants you to hide in the corner when other people are around, gay or not?
I know i have been there done that, its not nice!
She should be proud to be with you, and if she is not, then tell her it is not working and just be friends.
Take away the sexuality facts, and replace them with the word partner, look at the story again..
it would seem she just wants to play the field abit and not settle down, is that what you want?

Sounds like she's a little confused...how old are the 2 of you? Your sexuality is part of your identity and most people don't figure that out until after adolescence.

I think that at 13 and 14, you probably are not truly sure what your sexuality is, so I would say not to rush and not to worry it will become apparent to you how you really feel soon.

Your friend may possibly be bisexual, but to me she sounds like she's not really matured yet and is exploring her needs. If she's so ready to go from one person to another, and only wants you if no "handy" guys are there, then I wouldn't go getting into a relationship with her. She doesn't sound like she's ready to take anybody seriously yet.

Both of you are to young to tell the truth about sexuality, at that age, atraction to the same sex a normal thing; here you experiment a lot, nothing wrong with it, we are humans.
She might be bi, same as you.

She might be embarrassed of the fact that she is a lesbian and hangs around guys to make her feel more comfortable.
