Someone used my email address and sent forwarded message attached to it to nonexistent e-mail address and returned with failure notice (done twice with same content on different dates). My alleged email has 2 file attached to it, sendlog number.txt and instruction.pif. The forwarded attach text on email is the same on attached file sendlog content-description: original message#7997.eml. However, the pif file cannot be viewed (blank). The failure log does not have the date it was forwarded, send and received ID/certificate key evident done by hackers. Does the attached files contains spywares/virus after it was opened out of my curiousity? How to protect my pc from any harm? How to check its potentiality to harm my e-mail or other files in my pc? Where can I report this kind of inappropriate use of my email address incase it gets worse? Tell me also how to trace the origin of the sender with only the name of the net base sender in one country is indicated which maybe also a hoax.

Either you or someone who has your email address in their address book has a virus. If your computer is clean, there is nothing you can do about it short of changing your email address. There is no easy way to track things like this down as they are masked in so much diversion and mis-information. Always treat unexpected email attachments as suspect and never open them unless your computer has very current virus definitions. Even then, I would be most apt to just delete them. It's a very common method of delivering a virus.

Your email handle is on some spammers record. It is getting used to forge "sender" - meaning YOU get the bounce studies. Yahoo are not able to change this - the one thing you can do is delete these. It seems that - your yahoo e mail bought out in the wild. Attempt to restrict that in the future. Don't forward chain mails with all addresses obvious. Don't just add you e-mail to random web pages (use a 2nd disposable one for that) do not name yahoo, they fairly can not trade this. And, 30 to forty isn`t unhealthy. Are attempting getting 200 to 250 junk mail emails a day :(

IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR PC. ONLY SEND EMAILS FROM AN OTHER PC
