I don't feel I have that right.

There but by the grace of God go I...and all I'm going to do is pray for her!

I am a Conservative Republican and I wish her and John well.

Judge her? No, not really my place. We will all meet our maker someday anyhow, right?
But I would like to put something out there for thought. It is beyond my comprehension that the Edwards family doesn't bow out of the race. After all, we know that sugar fed to rats increases the size of tumors rapidly. Same when rats are introduced to stress. So it is hard for me to understand staying on the campaign trail.
Here is what I'm thinking. I honestly think Hillary plans to choose Edwards as her veep and pick up his votes and the entire American Bar Association come the big election day. She would not want Gore because the Democrats have already gained his family "advantage" which was the media. Hillary will not go with Osama as veep because he is too big on his own without her.
Edwards' wife realizes his big dream of being in the White House as VP (in line for the Presidency, of course); is all at the end of their fingertips. Thus, Elizabeth can not deny her husband the big one.

I'm also a Republican & KNOW that I don't have the right to judge their decision. Only John & Elizabeth Edwards have the right to voice opinions on this. I also wish them well (except for in the election campaign).

No one has the right to judge her except the Almighty. She has made the decision to, as she put it, continue living rather than start dying.

I have been praying for her since she was first diagnosed (1 year to the day after my wife). Tony Snow is in my prayers, also.

"The biggest problem you have sometimes with cancer is flat-out fear," Snow said. "When you see an Elizabeth Edwards saying, `I'm going to embrace life and I'm going to move forward,' that is a wonderful thing."

It is there decision to make and they made it and so be it.

You know the lady has uncurable cancer. So you see some of these people on her acting like she should be living in a box. Like that will make the cancer go away. It is her life and she is allowed to choose how she wants to live it. Even if it may end up killing her sooner in the end. And who even knows if it would. Maybe it will be good for her. There is a reason they call it practicing medicine.

That's great. I finally found something that you said that I agree with. I'm a fairly Liberal Democrat and I also will be praying for her. I can relate to John. I lost my mother to cancer a few years ago and my father's doing well. I know he misses her a lot.

Suddenly one is concerned about having the right to judge others. If only this extended past faces one sees on the television to those who interact with one on the internet.... One doesn't have the right to judge anybody. That job has been reserved for God.

As far as his/her decision goes, it's a personal matter. I am human before political affiliation, and absolutely wish the best for them. I personally would not continue running for office, but I don't judge their decision.

Anytime someone willingly puts themselves up in front of the public eye like the Edwards' they are deserving of all the praise and criticism they receive. I wish them the best but still question their decision. If she has this huge fight ahead of her why would she want to take on such a tiring task when right now it is important to make her fight against cancer a priority?

Wow, for once in your life you are trying to help someone else! They are even from a different political party! Amazing!

Did you fall off of something and hit your head?

Thank you, by the way.
