Capacity is the amount of data that you can store on a floppy. Different kinds of floppy disks have different capacities. Check the packaging of a floppy disk when you buy it and make sure that it is the right capacity for the floppy disk drive that you will be using.

It depend, generally it is 1.44 MB, but there are other drives also available in the same size which can take floppy drive up to 10 MB

The most common floppy disc capacity is 1.44mb (pre-FAT formatted), however it can range from 79.75kib to 200MiB - this is dependant on type of floppy disc.
