Yes, other prescription medications can reduce the effectiveness of the pill, stress can do it to. Also with a low dose or mini-pill if you don't take it within an hour of the same time of day that will also reduce the effectiveness of them. If you are taking any medications ask your pharmacist if they interact with the pill you are taking.
