Nah tom moody. Why don't we learn from our mistakes?? We have not done well recently with foregin coaches...John Wright and Greg Chappell. We should have someone from India as our coach...a former player...either Srinath or Kapil Dev or Robin Singh. These guys are always enthusiastic and they'll bring fresh and renewed energy to the team. A former Indian player as a coach will be good because they will be able to relate to the players in how much pressure they face, their expectations, their struggles, etc.
The Indian coach (litterally) would be approachable by the players and they would jel instantly.

Why should any cricketer require a coach? what should they be taught? why is it required for those who have reached to play international cricket after achieving certain required standards and are having so many years of experience?moreover having many many world records in their names?
According to my opinion, they don't require any coaching for playing cricket but if at all required they require a good psychologist.
By the way, there is nothing wrong with Greg Chepple. He is perfectly all right. What was wrong if he tried to boost the moral of juniors in the team to make them realise that without a need of any senior player's contribution also the team can perform and win? Remember, without Sachin , Ganguly , Shehwag or Yuvraj our team had won in the past in the earlier days of Mr Chepple's coaching.I think, he is of the opinion that any good cricketer should be able to play as per the need
of the situation and should be able to adjust himself in any position so as to make the team win.The greatness is not in
registering and making records in own name but it is in playing in the interest of the team and the nation and make the team win by thy efforts!!

I do not find anything wrong in the coaching of Greg Chappel. Only problem is due to interferences from various sources, he is not able to function the way he wants. Once a coach is appointed, he should be given freedom without any interference.

I think at this point of time the BCCI should look for a domestic coach rather than any foreign coach. I think Kapil Dev is the best choice.

I think tendulkar should now leave playing cricket and he should try to get into coaching and let other new talents come in team. No doubt..everybody love tendulkar and wud love to see him playing.. he should always be touched with cricket even though as a coach..
