Why bother having to say White Power when all you have to do is look at a map, or turn on the television set, or just go walking around outside. White Power is evident in every aspect of this and other societies. White influence is felt everywhere, so having to say White Power is totally unnecessary. The only reason one would shout White Power when there is overwhelming evidence of this power is to bother other races. You’re shouting White Power as a negative, and as a reminder which race is in control. Basically shouting White Power is a cruel way of rubbing all the other races faces into the mud and letting them know who really is in power; you don’t do it for pride of your race at all, you are doing it too be mean. A truly enlightened and powerful race would have no need to scream White Power.
For a people that believes that it's the most enlightened, industrious, and intelligent race on the planet, the people of your races are very insecure.
Blacks or brown people screaming Black Power is more of a self esteem issue rather than actual power. We have no real power when it comes down to it. It bothers white people because they don’t believe that we have a right to feel proud of anything including ourselves. Our race is told on a daily bases by all the other races that we are nothing; that we are inferior. This has been going on for hundreds of years with no end in sight from what I see and experience on a daily bases.
Think about what questions you are going to ask before you ask it.

i think that other races place a stigma on whites that they are really responsible for racism when in fact I've ran into quite in fact have ran into quite a few racist black people and i am speaking from personal experience. I have a biracial child and i have received more racist remarks from the black community than from the white community on the fact that my daughter is biracial. I also have for Hispanic children and while at school they are continuously receiving racist remarks from the black students such as you dirty Mexicans or your mom is a cracker. all in all i believe white people should be just as proud about there race than any other person and should be able to express that proudly and openly with out ridicule from other races.

it is OK to say you are proud of being white, saying "white power" is a complete different story, because "white power"start from the base that all other races are inferior. It is OK to be proud of your heritage but use it as a source of hatred is wrong.

say it. I would not say any of them though because I am a white hispanic and so brown power is ironic for me but technicly I can not say white power. Well, maybe if it was before 1970 since before then white hispanics were known as white since the hispanic label did not exist.

nobody said that it's not okay to be proud of being white. It's what you do with that pride that people have a problem with. Everyone should be proud of who they are.

First off, its ok to be proud of being white. But when people here white power being said, that phrase is normally associated with the KKK. Other whites no this, therefore they try not to associate themselves with this phrase.

If you want to take pride in your race than do so with pride and dignity, not with cheap theatrics and provocative statements......white power indeed, more like white insecurity.
BTW I am a Caucasian of European decent and I have great pride in my peoples' accomplishments and I neither shun from that pride nor do I lord it over others. This is called mutual respect. You may want to look it up.

'Political Correctness' has truly taken the edge off our first amendment right to free speech! All of this politically correct BS is nothing more than a way to mislead the general populace into a false sense that 'they' care about our well being. 'They' (the government) will spin anything if it will favor them in any way. Black and Hispanic votes are very will be very important in the next presidential election so look for far more political correctness to become available!

I know you all are trying to find ways to erase all that blacks have been through, from Harriet Tubman running from the South if things were so fine and dandy ,to the times of segregation when WHites were treating Blacks Badly ,and then have a nerve to erase it,and if you would think before you talk maybe you will come along!!
