Ur 1st Q is legit. The 2nd one is just stupid. But u will find in most cultures (dark skinned ones) even they tend to feel that lighter skin is more attractive.

First, Beyonce isn't biracial, both of her parents are black. They are plenty of dark skinned females that are beautiful such as Gabrielle Union, Stacy Dash, Kelly Rowland, Tyra Banks, etc. They have plenty of unattractive "light skinned" celebrities too. Being attractive is based on the person, not weather they are light skinned or not. Besides, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Black women comes in every shade, and each one is unique and beautiful in their own way, just like every other women.

TV knows whites are the largest viewers, so yes it is slanted towards the white audience. TV will deny it, it is true. Ever notice all the commercials? They have token blacks. Rarely any Hispanic.
