Im not bragging but i had just watched war of the worlds and it triggered me off again...

I just lay there wondering why we are here? Why are the planets round? Why do we even exist?

Why can't there be NOTHING... i mean NOTHING !!!

I would give so much for answers...

I just wondered that most people just go about there daily lives like routine and basic emotions, not realising there born.

Yes...I do the same thing. Sometimes though, it seems like a curse. I just think different from everyone else, and they don't get me sometimes. And..I sure don't get them. It just seems like I'm constantly analyzing, thinking, worrying, etc...
I always say...what I would give to just be dumb and happy.

I think about the same things.... I question everything as well. It can drive you crazy.There's no perfect answer I was telling someone the other day that each of us has our own gifts. I'm probably the most intelligent person in my family, and I don't mean that in a negative way. It's just a fact. My family doesn't understand because they don't think about that kind of stuff. They think about things that can be understood and don't see the point in thinking about things that can't be explained. I've come to the conclusion that being smart and questioning life is well...the way I am. My brother is honestly lucky to be a dumbass and only care about what kind of car he's driving while I sit here and contemplate the meaning of life.

David, I like your question very much, and no, I am not one who just goes about living like all is peaches and cream when in fact, there are many things in life that are not right. I too, think about why we are on this planet, and if there is someone more powerful than all us human beings, the sun too is so powerful. I believe the answers you are looking for can be found in only one place, the book of all books and the book over all books, The Bible. I've read parts of that book and it says quite a bit, like why we have all this wickedness and why do people do bad things, and are there good people and the bible has so much to say. If you are really sincere about receiving answers to your questions about this reality we are trapped in, well the bible is the book to get into.

I agree 100%. I think about that sort of thing daily. Why are we here? where did we come from(outer space?) where did that come from. if there is a being who created it( i dont believe in god per se) where did it come from? Why doesnt my girlfriend like fish? Is the universe all invisibly connected by energy( in some strange quantum way) If it is can we tap into it( chinese 'chi', meditation, mediumship, telepathy etc) Why the hell do they insist on making the jar tops on pringles salsa dip so bloody tight? hmmm! I love pondering amongst the great questions even though at the same time it drives me nuts !

I know what you mean. I thought I was deep until I'm reading blogs on the Internet, and it's like wow, people are more profound than I ever imagined. You probably heard there aren't answers for everything, or things are better left off as mysteries, but I totally disagree. There's more to life than I think there is.

Oh but anyways, you can be deep and think about life more but you don't have to be like book smart. I know I'm not intelligent, but I tend to ponder about life anyways.

you are not alone i think most people think about the deeper things in life (what is deep to one person may be a complete joke to another) that does not mean we should ridicule a persons level of intelligence because of how they think. Some people may watch a soap and somehow relate it to their own lives and rethink the future... so no i disagree!

I know what you mean.

Whenever I think like that, about what is, I always get this annoying feeling throughout my whole body. It makes me feel useless for not not understanding it.

And, also, what you said about most people is true. A lot of people don't care how we got here, why we are here, or anything like that. It's actually a little sad.

I feel thankful that I am not one of those people.

So, do you get that weird feeling like I do, when you try to comprehend things that seem incomprehensible? Or is that just me?

I am not one of these people, but if you truly are one of those people who thinks about life deeply, you will find history and anecdotal evidence shows you will become sad or depressed as there are no satisfactory answers to deep and meaningful questions, just opinions and more questions.
