It's a small rustic town, (plus, there's "Old Tucson out a ways, where they used to shoot old western movies... kind of touristy?). But as far as anything to do in Tucson... forget it! It's a desert town out in the middle of the sticks with very little to do... boring town! There are the "Caves" though, (a little ways out of town), which are fairly interesting? Other than that... dusty and dirty!

It's great! I moved out here in 2003 with my family from the mid west. I live north of Tucson in a very desired neighborhood. The people out here are very kind and polite. Many being transplants from the mid west like myself. Pima county was projected to hit 1 million in pop. in 2009, but already done so a couple of months ago. The nightlife out here is not all that great from what I here (I don't get out that much). It's more of an artsy fartsy city if you like that sort of a thing. Traffic is a mess right now, with the widening of the I-10. Also, the traffic stinks in the winter with all the "snowbirds" in-town who don't know how to drive. Beautiful landscape with the Santa Catalina Mountains. It's a college sports town with the U of A being at the helm. The sports section of all the news papers is pretty crappy not cover that much of the pro sport sector. If you like to eat, this is the place. A lot of nice restaurants out here

Anyways...come on out and give it a try.

It was pretty... happened to snow while I was there.. so there was snow on the cacti... they have a few casinos... close enough drive to Vegas or Cali... plenty of good food... we took a drive down to Mexico.... I don't know.. too much myself it was my first trip out there.. lots of Art ...and Galleries....we looked at the foothills... plenty of surburbs... though... was pretty spread out....
