I need to upgrade from a standard vga graphics adapter. help! dell laptop vista 32-bit?

I keep getting messages that my video card doesn't like 3xd or that direct draw didn't install correctly or I need to upgrade to a newer graphics card. I haVE A STANDARD vga . and ai've looked everywhere. pLEASE HELP. I am an avid gamer and this is depressing me.

First you should have stayed away from vista because there are still alot on conflicts. Second you might be best of buying a pci-e graphics card if you are a gamer and make sure you have a gig of ram to be safe. I am also a gamer and this should help you.
