autumn is a BEAUTIFUL name
my girl friend's name is summer and she loves it...but i do think autumn is spectacular!
it's so resonante and powerful
august however doesn't seem too feminine i don't like it at all

When I was a kid a girl named Autumn was really nice and accepting towards me, so now I love that name, although Summer is good too. I like Autumn Marie or Autumn Eileen.

My name is not Autumn, but I think it's a very nice name.
I'm not that thrilled about August, though - it sounds too Roman for my taste.

I absolutely LOVE the name Autumn, a friend of mine named his baby girl that, and it's just the most adorable name. I considered using it myself (8 months pregnant)....don't use August though...it's too harsh.

Autumn is pretty (no pun intended). August is traditionally a man's name, like Augustus Caesar or August Belmont (think Belmont Park in NYC).
